The drill will take place at West Babylon Junior High School on Friday, Aug. 30 where police officers will respond to three mock scenarios.
At the same time, Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone, Suffolk County Police Commissioner Geraldine Hart and Suffolk County Police Chief of Department Stuart Cameron will be at police headquarters.
They will be in the "Real-Time Crime Center" to test various technologies including Sharing to Help Access Remote Entry or SHARE.
Not all scenarios will use the advanced technology and the outcomes of each will be evaluated, according to Suffolk County Police.
